Clean Ocean Action attributes its 29 years of success to the organizations and individuals who were, and still are, the ocean's first line of defense. These Ocean Wavemakers continue to be active ocean defenders by volunteering for campaigns, attending and speaking at public hearings, writing letters or calling elected officials, and spreading the message of a clean ocean to family, friends, and co-workers.
