The Surf Open brings together surfers of all ages and skill levels to celebrate New Jersey's incredible coastline while raising funds to support Clean Ocean Action's year-round programs protecting our ocean, beaches, and coastal communities.
Whether you're competing, cheering from the beach, photographing, or supporting a surfer, your participation helps advance efforts to reduce pollution, protect marine life, and help protect the coast and ocean for future generations.

ACTION ALERT: Tell Governor Sherrill to SAY NO TO NESE
On September 8, 2026, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit deemed Transco’s Water Quality Certification unlawful; it now no longer exists. This decision by the Court has implications for COA's lawsuit appealing the approval of the Tidelands Utility License by the NJ Tidelands Resource Council. Tell Governor Sherrill to protect NJ’s waterways, public health, and environment by denying any future water quality certification applications for the NESE pipeline! |
